Shawn's 2nd birthday party was at one of my favorite places to eat... Graeter's!  His family & friends were all there to help celebrate.  I think his favorite present was a yellow dump truck, he was zooming all over!

Julia, a journey to motherhood

I have overcome infertility and am now the proud mother of a beautiful boy!!!!! In 2005 my husband and I began trying to get pregnant. After 5 years of trying and 9 failed cycles of assisted reproduction, the marriage also failed. My desire to be a mom was still very strong. With the support of my friends and family I adopted my son as a single woman. Best decision of my life! I couldn't be more in love with my son. I feel the blessings of motherhood from the depths of my soul! My infertility struggle has given me an appreciation of this gift called motherhood that brings me tears of joy!  --Julia

Alyson's 1st Birthday Party

Today I photographed the most fantastic Winnie the Pooh birthday party!  Aly's mom, Karrie, is super crafty and makes all of the decorations... I'm so impressed by her talent!  The birthday girl was absolutely adorable in her Winnie the Pooh shirt & tutu!

My good friend, Valerie, has been part of Advocare, which is a nutrition, weight-loss, energy and sports performance products company, for a year.  She has had great success with the program and wanted to showcase her changes.  

Flag Football at Cypress

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to shoot a flag football game at Cypress Church. It was a great experience to see the teams praying together before the game started. 

Deer Creek State Park

This past weekend was spent in Deer Creek.  We went to celebrate the 65th anniversary of my grandparents.  We hiked, played shuffle board, tennis, swam at the beach, played cards, and rode the slide at the playground.  It was a grand time.

I watch these two boys once a week and wow are they fun!  Reece loves copying everything they do, and she learns so much from them!

Who knew Alum Creek Beach was so fun?!  I had a great time today taking a few photos of Julia & Shawn by the edge of the water.  He's such a cute, and well-mannered little boy!  At one point I sneezed and he said "bless you"!  So adorable!  Can't wait to capture memories at his 2nd birthday party!

Zella's First Birthday

Miss Zella is such a pretty baby, just like her mom!  It was so fun meeting all of Zella's siblings and her Grandparents.  What a great family, can't wait to capture more memories for them!
